FBI to Host 100th Anniversary
Celebration
On Friday, July 25, 2008, Special Agent
in Charge (SAC) Keith Slotter will be hosting a celebration
for the FBI’s 100th Anniversary. The event will
take place at the Division’s Headquarters located
at 9797 Aero Drive, San Diego, California, between
1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Members of the media are welcomed
and encouraged to attend.
Guests in attendance will include personnel from federal,
state, and local law enforcement agencies with whom
we work, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Mayor,
Judges, members of the U.S. military, our community
partners, and many Mexican officials, to name only
a few. Almost 800 are expected to attend the day’s
ceremonies.

At the conclusion of the on-stage ceremony, our guests
will be able to enjoy displays our employees have created
highlighting significant events during each decade
of our agency’s history, as well as booths displaying
various programs of today’s FBI. Our SWAT team
and Evidence Response Team (ERT) also will have static
displays set up.
Members of the media will have access to the event
with a valid press credential. Parking will be available
for media trucks on Daley Center Drive between the
FBI building and Stonecrest Boulevard.
