Seeks Public's Assistance in Identifying Bank Robbery
Suspect
The FBI is seeking the public's assistance in identifying
the individual responsible for robbing the Pacific
Trust Bank located at 610 Bay Boulevard in Chula Vista
on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at approximately 6:20
p.m.
The
suspect is described as a white male, approximately
50 - 55 years old, 5'5" - 5'7", approximately
230 pounds with a medium to stocky build, gray salt
and pepper hair, and bushy, salt and pepper eyebrows.
He was wearing a dark ski mask, dark jeans, and a
gray zipped hooded sweatshirt.
The
suspect entered the bank carrying a 9 mm semi-automatic
handgun, forced his way into vault, and stole a substantial
amount of money. After taking the employees' keys,
the robber left the location in one of the employee's
cars. That car was a silver, four-door, 2000 Honda
Accord with California license plate 4MNX084, which
has still not been recovered.
It
is currently not known whether this man is responsible
for any other bank robberies in the area.
