Fugitives Wanted

FBI Special Agent in Charge Keith Slotter asks for the public’s assistance in locating two fugitives of the Operation Setting Sun investigation. Earlier today, August 18, 2009, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California issued a press release regarding the indictment of 15 members of two related drug organizations. Thirteen of those individuals were arrested in connection with the two-year investigation. Two defendants remain at-large. The remaining defendants are Marla Laree Caniglia, 30, of San Diego, California, and Sean Michael Smith, 30, also of San Diego.

Marla Laree Caniglia is described as follows:

• Gender: Female
• Race: White
• Height: 5’6”
• Weight: 130 pounds
• Eyes: Green
• Hair: Brown

Sean Michael Smith is describes as follows:

• Gender: Male
• Race: White
• Height: 5’10”
• Weight: 200 pounds
• Eyes: Brown
• Hair: Blond/Brown
