FBI and San Diego Police Department Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Chase Bank Robbery Suspect

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank, located at 5303 Ruffin Road, San Diego, California, at approximately 12:20 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 23, 2009.

At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, approached a teller, and presented a demand note for cash.  After receiving a sum of money the robber exited the bank and fled in an unknown direction.  No weapon was observed.

The robber is described as follows:
Race: Hispanic
Sex: Male
Age: Approximately 30 years old
Height: Approximately 5’8”
Weight: 180 lbs.
Hair: Dark
Clothing: Light colored ball cap with yellow San Diego Chargers bolt on the front, dark sunglasses, light colored zip up jacket, black t-shirt under jacket, black sneakers.
